Eugene J. Laka

I was born in Western Ukraine, and arrived in America in June 1946 with my parents. I speak Ukrainian fluently, and I speak passable Russian and Polish. I have a degree in Engineering Science from Dartmouth College an MBA from Columbia University and an MS in International Management from NYU. I enjoyed a long career at Citibank and when I left to start my own business I was the Corporate Vice President in Charge of the Bank's Strategic Planning Department reporting to the Chairman of the Board and the Board of Directors. My articles on international business and finance have been published in The New York Times and the Financial Times (of London). In my business work I have traveled to over 80 countries and have been around the globe more than 8 times. I was baptized in the Christian faith but I visit churches rarely. I was divorced three years now and have one daughter who is grown and is a Ph.D. in Psychology and lives in her own apartment. I lived and worked in Kyiv, Ukraine from 1993 to 2000 to construct a $100 Million USD office building project that the Mayor of Kyiv and the government of Ukraine unlawfully expropriated from me in 1999 and I am still in the process of attempting to recover my financial loses, now through the US Federal Courts. I now own and operate a new set of successful businesses in New York City, NY, USA. I am seeking a lady to marry who speaks English and Ukrainian fluently, may be divorced, has no children of her own but would like to start a family, and holds an advanced degree, preferably at the Ph.D. level. She should be of medium height and weight, and have a good and kind heart, distinctive charm, poise and excellent taste. My prospective partner should consider a marriage a permanent bond, not be promiscuous, and be open and honest in all of her interactions with me as I would be with her. I would prefer to meet ladies who live in New York City, USA, or the USA as a whole or Canada. Ukrainian ladies with high professional standing in other countries are also welcome. I consider myself an intellectual and cosmopolitan, my political views are moderate, and I would prefer to marry someone who is Christian, even if she is not religious. I would not marry any lady who did not speak English and Ukrainian fluently and who did not have a distinguished professional career.
