Another amazing feature of Saint Petersburg is the number of sculptures. There is a feeling that there are people in the street at any hour. It can be day or night - ever. They live their own lives in the old city and don't care about you. Like in that book for children about Nilson it seems they come to life at nights and back to their places with the dawn.
